          Between 24 and 28 September 2011, the ecological association Treska from Makedonski Brod conducted an art workshop in the secondary school St. Naum Ohridski. The activity aimed to raise the awareness of the local community regarding the climate change impacts and to promote importance of the adaptation concept. On 4 October the art workshop ended with Art exhibition which was set in the same school. The name of the exhibition was “Where does the waste go?” and was part of the rising awareness activities of the Macedonian Climate Reaction Network. The students accomplished to paint more than 15 paintings and as an added value arranged a small school play on the human behavior towards the environment.

          During the workshop, 35 children were involved together with school authorities and art experts while the exhibition was officially opened by the city mayor Mr. Milosim Vojneski. CSO network members also attended the opening, as well as local government representatives, media, students, parents and school authorities. At the end, five paintings were chosen as most successful ones regarding the subject and messages spread. The exhibition was open for the citizens from 4 to 10 October 2012, with more than 700 visitors.
