• National Network Kick Off Meeting in Macedonia

          On 12 May 2011, in the premises of the Macedonian Red Cross, the kick off meeting for the SEE Forum on Climate Change Adaptation was held. The idea of the meeting was to present the project, to discuss NGO`s impact on climate changes adaptation and to highlight the importance of being a part of the South East European Forum. The meeting was attended by representatives from 17 NGOs across the country, such as UNDP, Military Academy, Center for Crisis Management, National Hydrometeorological Service and the Ministry of Environment. Several lectures on climate change were held by external associates and experts and activities of the Macedonian Red Cross in this field were highlighted. In the near future a number of network meetings shall be organized for coordinating communication and for developing a working strategy.
